What a journey it has been since we first premiered the film in Edinburgh last year. For film maven Mark Cousins, FUTURE MY LOVE was "like Adam Curtis meets Star Trek – I loved it." And we have been touring the film in more than 60 screenings at festivals across Europe and North America – just look at this map.
On the way, we even picked up an award for the best Green doc at Dokufest in Kosovo, and we're about to add Colombia and China to the map! One of our personal favourites was the tour in Mexico earlier this year (read Maja's blog posts about Ambulante).
And now, with the help of Independent Cinema Office (ICO) we are starting our cinema run in UK in London, Bristol, Nottingham, Sheffield and other towns. More locations are being added as we speak. We've always been convinced that a cinema offers the best experience to see film in a communal setting. ICO's backing has been a great boost for us. You can find all confirmed dates on our Screenings page. Maja Borg will be available for a Q&A session in London on 15 Nov.
If the film is not playing anywhere near you, please do encourage your local cinema (anywhere in the world) to programme it, or you can organise your own community screening – wherever you are. Contact [email protected]
We will have other exciting announcements soon, but till then, spread the word, and get involved in the #FutureMyLove dialogue.
For general feedback on the film, please post on our Feedback page instead.
